We engage in comprehensive cross-training across various functions within GTM, including Finance, UI/UX, Data Science, Engineering, Public Relations, RevOps, CSM, Product, Growth, as well as Marketing and Sales. For each game, we prioritize Marketing and Sales, and we also select two additional functions to focus on. This time we have chosen to emphasize CSM and Product.
For every game, we invite two contestants from each function, resulting in a total of eight contestants. Additionally, we assign one coach per function, totalling four coaches. Moreover, we bring in a Venture Capitalist (VC) who will run the final VC Endgame event on Friday.
The game spans across five days, with each day dedicated to a different function. Each day, the assigned coach teaches contestants a new skill from his function in drill format. Contestants role play the skill and learn on the fly via ‘live’ coaching. Each day two contestants are eliminated based on ability to apply feedback. Only two of them make it to the VC Endgame on day five where VC selects our GTM Champion.
Coaches only need to bring along a short deck and idea for a GTM challenge around a skill. We can share prior challenges with you to help you get out of the white space. Total coaching time is about 15-20 min within a 60 min game.
Contestants: please not this is a zero preparation event. As all great drills and role-plays benefit from pushing you out of your comfort zone and putting you on the spot.
